Two teaser trailers of Conversations with Friends have been shared by Hulu and BBC ahead of the premiere this May! Check them out below. Joe also attended Hulu’s panel at TCA 2022 on February 8 where the cast and creators of the show discussed the show. Joe said about the series and author Sally Rooney:
I think people can do whatever they want that makes them happy. I’m obviously happy in a monogamous relationship, but I think one of the interesting things about Sally’s writing is exploring the ideas of happiness and love and desire and intimacy outside of the constructs we’ve created for ourselves, whether that’s friendships or families or relationships. As a conversation, it’s endlessly fascinating and one of the reasons why people love her books and her refusal to — without giving things away — tie things up at the end of her stories. It’s just constantly thought-provoking.

The film, which is directed by Augustine Frizzell, also stars Shailene Woodley, Felicity Jones, Callum Turner, and Nabhaan Rizwan. It will be released on Netflix in select countries on July 23, and in theatres on August 6 in the UK and Ireland.
Joe nos surpreendeu ao chegar na última quinta-feira (17) em Donostia na Espanha, para o Festival de Cinema de San Sebastián. O ator foi escolhido para compor o júri presidido por ninguém mais, ninguém menos que Luca Guadagnino (Me Chame pelo seu Nome). O festival teve início ontem (18) e terminará no dia 26. Joe compareceu a cerimônia de abertura e deve estar em outros eventos durante a semana, além da cerimônia de premiação.

Joe attended the 73rd British Academy Film Awards on Sunday, February 2 in London. Joe was there to present two awards. Along with actor Niamh Algar, Joe presented the awards for Original Score and Sound. Unfortunately the full videos of Joe presenting haven’t been uploaded to youtube, but you can see a partial clip of him presenting the two awards below. Joe and Guy Pearce did a bunch of press for A Christmas Carol yesterday, December 17, in New York City. The costars did interviews for Good Morning America, Strahan, Sara and Keke, Buzzfeed’s AM to DM, ET Canada, and BUILD Series. Joe also did an interview with Collider which you can read here.
